Battalion Champions!

On Saturday 7th March, the Junior Section, Company Section and Seniors attended the Yorkshire County Battalion Uniformed Competitions in Heckmondwike, and returned victorious!

The Junior Section retained the figure marching trophy, winning for the 2nd year in a row, adding to this 1st place in the General Knowledge Competition! They also received joint 1st place in the Bible knowledge element of the Christian Faith Quiz Competition and 3rd place overall in the Christian Faith Competition.

The Company Section won both parts (Bible Knowledge and Bible Project) to gain 1st place in the Company Section Christian Faith Competition. The Seniors also won both elements of their Christian Faith Competition, to secure 1st place for the fourth year in a row. They also won the Company Section and Seniors Drill Competition, to bring home the Battalion Colours!

We also won the Battalion Shield, for receiving the most points throughout the year! A very successful day!

Well done to all of the lads who attended of whom we're all very proud!
