Junior Section - Ages 8-11
The Junior Section are our 2nd section and are aged between 8-11 years old. Our Juniors this session are being run by Capt. Mike Colbeck and meet between 6.45pm and 8.00pm.
The Juniors love Challenges and competition, they also enjoy making things with their hands. The programme is a mixture of all these things with Games and Worship also. They also enjoy several outings throughout the year.
The Junior Section work towards 4 different circular badges -Target,
Bronze, Silver and Gold. Their badge work is split into 5 different zones:
• Body - fit for fun
• Mind - think and do
• Spirit - God and me
• Community - me and my world
• Creativity - make and do
• Mind - think and do
• Spirit - God and me
• Community - me and my world
• Creativity - make and do
The lads also love to go away on their annual holiday and have been to places such as Pateley Bridge, Melton and Green Moor (near Sheffield).
