Gift Aid

We are asking all of our Parents that are in employment to sign a Gift Aid declaration. Guft Aid gives us the opportunity to claim back the tax paid on the subscriptions to BB. In effect this means that for every pound that is paid in, we can claim 28p back from the Government.

Junior Section Holiday - Day 2

Day 2 at Whitley Bay, After a leisurely start to the day, we had planned to go to the "CENTRE FOR LIFE" an interactive museum, where there is everything and anything for everyone, we traveled by Metro train, to St James' Park, and had a good but breif look at Newcastle United's Home Ground, we had a photo outside the entrance( which can be seen at the bottom of this page)

We arrived at "CENTRE FOR LIFE" museum and had a little look around, then tucked into our lunch. We then set off to see the rest of the museum, we dressed up as sarhara desert tribes men, then we moved onto
"THE DOME" which is a 3D game simulator on finding new spececis of organisms, (which was ace because we all had a controller)
We then moved on to a another simulation ride, which was a motion simulator, in this ride we all face environmental disaster through years of over harvesting the forests.

Super-Trees are grown in a simulated "super world" called "Himalamazon", where a uniquely developed combination of the attributes of the Himalayas and the Amazon has been created,

So basicly it chucked us all over the place and made us queasy and we were stupid enough to go on it again.

We looked at dinosaur bones, medical instruments throught the years and technology that has evolved through the years.
We concluded our Museum mayhem, with a exciting talk about amazing animals and how they are suited to their habitats, how they protect themselves against preditors, we also were shows how other animals prosuide theor pray to come to them.

We went back on the metro, to south sheilds then caught a ferry over to north sheilds, we walked back to the centre only finding out that, we had gone the back way and not had a key for the gate.

Here are a few pictures from Day 2 of our Junior Section Holiday in Whitley Bay.

Junior Section Holiday - Day 1

Day 1 at Whitley Bay, we travelled for hours up and down hills, round and round corners, but not gettin lost of course!

We arrived at the Superb Centre at 8 o-clock, the lads were so Excited that they helped bring their own luggage in which is very supprising indeed!

We had great fun playing Pool, Football and other fun games (most of the lads beat the staff which is not easy to admit)

When bedtime came around we had to persuade them to put the pool cues down and step away from the football, the lads were in bed By 12 (Mid-Night).
