A Busy time for 5th Scarborough

October has been a very busy month for the Company and November is set to be no different as we have a month packed full of events.

Seniors: Delirious? Gig!!

Last Saturday the Seniors were at the Abundant Life Ministry in Bradford at a concert by Christian Rock Band "Delirious?". Watch out on the Seniors Blog for a report of the gig.

No Meeting - 2nd November

Unfortunately the Hall is in use for Music Exams this week and we will therefore be unable to meet this week. We will return as normal in full uniform on 9th November.

Founder's Day Parade: 5th November

It is The Yorkshire County Battalion's Founder's Day this Sunday, which is being hosted by bthe 1st Acomb Company in York. Due to limited transport availability, we have a very small number of places available and we will be inviting the older lads of the Company to represent us.

Seniors Weekend in London: 10th - 12th November

The Seniors are having a weekend away in London in 2 weeks time for the weekend of The Lord Mayor's Show and Rememberence Day. We will be staying in Hemel Hempstead and travelling into London. Watch for Blog entries on this and the Seniors Blog over the course of the weekend.

Sports Competitions: 18th November

It is The Yorkshire County Battalion Sports Competitions in a few weeks time and we have a Junior Section team takng part in 5-a-side Football and Team Games competitions and Company Section and Seniors teams taking part in 5-a-side Football and Cross Country competitions. The Company Section are the current holders of the 5-a-side shield and are keen to defend their title.

Tesco Vouchers

We are collecting the Tesco Sports Vouchers and would be very grateful for the donation of any vouchers in order to acquire some new Sports Equipment Courtesy of Tesco.
